by Local Educational Agencies LEAs to provide education to these students on a short or long term basis dependent on school needs Natchaug CDT offers special education services to students in grades ndash whose social emotional or behavioral health problems prevent them from functioning successfully in a regular school environment Each studentrsquos individual academic and clinical treatment plan is designed to address their special needs and return them to their regular schools as soon as possibleJob SummaryThe Educational Assistant Para assists the teacher with classroom instruction behavior management and clerical duties Assists with all student activities as assigned Provides transportation to students as needed This position works Monday through Friday am pm It is a month school year
