Under general supervision from the Education Administrator I of the Migrant Education Office (MEO) and the general direction of the Director of the Multilingual Support Division, and working cooperatively with program offices and supervisors throughout the California Department of Education (CDE), the Education Programs Consultant (EPC) works independently on their duties. The MEO is responsible for administering state and/or federal programs, including Title I, Part C, which serve migratory students and their families through sub grants to 20 local educational agencies (LEAs) throughout the state.
