Educational Diagnostician – Near South Grand Prairie, Texas Full-Time | Immediate Start Pay: $40 per hour / $2,000 per week We are seeking a qualified Educational Diagnostician to support a school district in near Lancaster, as well as nearby communities including Duncanville, DeSoto, Midlothian, and Cedar Hill. This is a full-time, onsite position providing evaluations, eligibility determinations, and collaborative support within the special education department. Compensation is $40 per hour with guaranteed weekly pay of $2,000. Position Details + Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week + Pay Rate: $40 per hour + Weekly Pay: $2,000 per week + Start Date: Immediate + Contract Duration: Through the end of the school year, with potential for renewal + Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start Qualifications + Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or related field + Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification + Strong understanding of Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines and special education regulations + Experience administering academic, cognitive, and behavioral assessments + Proficiency writing FIEs and producing detailed eligibility reports + Familiarity with ARD/IEP procedures and timelines + Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Responsibilities + Conduct Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs) in accordance with Texas and district requirements + Administer standardized academic, cognitive, and behavioral assessments + Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive written reports + Participate in ARD meetings and assist with eligibility determinations + Provide instructional and behavioral recommendations based on assessment results + Adhere to compliance timelines and maintain accurate records + Work collaboratively with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families + Support the special education department with evaluation needs across assigned campuses If you are a certified Educational Diagnostician in Texas and available to start immediately, I’d welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
