As Education Coordinator II, you coordinate the design and development of education programs for the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, collaborating with internal stakeholders to support curriculum planning, program implementation, and communication efforts while engaging with learners and faculty to enhance awareness of program initiatives. In this role, you also schedule and coordinate classroom space for courses, update the CCLCM portal, work closely with course directors, and manage catering and materials for events, with potential opportunities to assist with Medical Humanities grant activities.
A caregiver in this role works a hybrid schedule from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with three on-site days and two remote days each week.
Hours can be flexed as needed to support operational and departmental needs.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Coordinate directed educational opportunities and in service programs in support of the mission of the College of Medicine.
May coordinate directed educational opportunities in conjunction with external and public advocates to further educate targeted external groups.
Design and schedule educational meetings and arrange for appropriate presenters and speakers.
May oversee and edit content on the College of Medicine intranet website(s).
Review and keep current with relevant websites addressing respective areas.
Produce communications to educate stakeholders about program.
Create educational pieces related to programs in conjunction with the appropriate CC department and selected individuals. This may include working with Marketing, Education Institute, Office of General Council and the CC Journal of Medicine to disseminate information.
Lead and train caregivers in the assigned area.
Interface with manage in the targeted areas to implement effective processes and performance improvement strategies.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's degree in education, business administration or related field
Three years of experience in a hospital or education setting dealing with the coordination or administration of education, training programs, medical education, special projects or related areas
Conflict resolution skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master's degree
Ability to work on multiple projects
Basic IT and office skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds
