The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Edifecs tools and a solid understanding of healthcare EDI transactions and compliance standards. **Key Responsibilities** + Design, develop, and maintain EDI mappings using **Edifecs SpecBuilder and MapBuilder** + Work on healthcare EDI transactions such as **837 (P/I/D), 835, 270/271, 276/277, 277CA, 834, 820, PACDR** + Develop and manage **Guidelines, Profiles, and Protocols** + Configure and support **Edifecs EAM / XEngine** for batch and real-time processing + Perform EDI validation, error handling, and troubleshooting + Work closely with business analysts and healthcare SMEs to understand requirements + Support production issues, root cause analysis, and defect fixes + Ensure compliance with **HIPAA, X12 5010, and other regulatory standards** + Participate in testing, deployment, and post-production support activities + Document technical designs and operational procedures **Required Skills & Qualifications** + **4+ years** of hands-on experience with **Edifecs tools** + Strong knowledge of healthcare EDI standards ( **X12, HIPAA** ) + Experience with **SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, XEngine** + Hands-on experience in EDI validations, acknowledgments ( **999, 277CA** ) + Experience with batch processing and real-time EDI flows + Good understanding of healthcare domain concepts (claims, eligibility, payments) + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills **Good to Have** + Experience with **Edifecs EAM, Encounter Management** + Exposure to **cloud deployments** (AWS/Azure) + Knowledge of **SQL and database tracking** + Experience with production support and on-call rotations + Understanding of **payer/provider workflows** **Education** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Conduent is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, gender expression, sex/gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.
