Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Leader of Edge AI Product Management to direct our product vision and execution for AI-driven Industrial IoT solutions, ranging from “far edge” to “near edge”, including AI on-prem Appliance. This role will be instrumental in defining how Qualcomm’s cutting-edge chipsets, AI accelerators, and software platforms enable next-generation industrial automation, robotics, and edge intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
•    Define and own the product roadmap for Edge AI including AI on-prem Appliance and AI Inference Suite, aligning with Qualcomm’s broader AI and compute/connectivity strategy.
•    Identify and develop high-impact use cases across manufacturing, retail, enterprise, logistics, energy, and smart infrastructure.
•    Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, business development, and marketing, globally working with regional teams; partner within Automotive-IoT-Cloud Center of Expertise and its tasks.
•    Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to industrial, enterprise and automotive audiences.
•    Lead go-to-market activities, including launch strategies, sales enablement, and content development; partner with regional teams

Product Innovation:
•    Translate customer and market needs into differentiated product features leveraging Qualcomm’s AI engines including DSPs/AI accelerators, CPU/GPU and SoCs.
•    Collaborate with R&D partners across the company, customers and ecosystem partners to influence silicon and software roadmaps for edge inference, real-time control, and low-power AI and software tools and products

Customer & Ecosystem Engagement:
•    Build strong relationships with OEMs, ISVs, software platform providers and other ecosystem partners.
•    Thought leadership and represent Qualcomm in industry forums and events  related to IoT and edge AI.

Execution Excellence:
•    Be a key member of a team of product managers, engineering leads, customer engineering and program management to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance edge AI solutions.
•    Actively lead customer PoC and their conversion into commercial deployments
•    Define KPIs and success metrics to track adoption, performance, and customer satisfaction.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    10+ years in product management or technical leadership roles, with 5+ years in AI, edge computing.
•    Deep understanding of AI/ML at the edge, embedded systems, and industrial protocols.
•    Solid understanding of AI/ML software tools and platforms, MLops, agentic AI workflows, LLM inference serving
•    Experience with Qualcomm platforms and AI accelerators or similar SoCs is highly desirable.
•    Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and customer audiences.
•    Proven track record of launching successful AI-enabled products, especially in the industrial and enterprise domains.
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
•    Familiarity with industrial safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
•    Knowledge of autonomous and robotics platforms
•    Experience with operating systems, device management platforms, edgeAI orchestration, and AI model optimization.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$196,000.00 - $294,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
