This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful design and implementation of edge compute, storage and end point technologies. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders. **What You Will Do:** + Research, pilot, and design digital technology platforms, including localized AI + Collaborate with Architecture, Cyber, Operations, and partners to deliver practical solutions + Translate business and architectural requirements into deployable systems + Oversee integration of compute, networking, storage, and physical infrastructure (power, HVAC, backups) + Conduct hands-on site surveys for edge and factory deployments + Stay current on emerging technologies through vendors and conferences + Recommend design changes and simplify solutions based on real-world constraints + Work with automation teams and technical writers to enable scalable deployments and lifecycle documentation **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience + 8-10 years of experience in infrastructure support and design **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Experience participating in multiple concurrent projects. + Excellent time management skills + Experience in data center / and server migrations + Experienced with hypervisors and Kubernetes Platforms- VMware, Hyper-V, AKS, Openshift, etc. + Experience in architecture diagrams, design solutioning, + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Work Location** This is a hybrid role, Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.
