Location: San Antonio, TX | Starting Pay Rate: $31.66/hr | Shift: First Shift, 5AM–2:30PM
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 Months)

Your Expertise Is the First Line of Defense in Aerospace Safety

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Eddy Current NDT Quality Test Specialist to support high-impact aerospace operations in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you'll perform critical inspections and tests that ensure aircraft and components meet exacting safety and performance standards. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will directly influence flight readiness and product reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Perform setup and calibration of eddy current test equipment for various aircraft inspections (bolt holes, corrosion, thickness, conductivity, etc.)

Conduct routine and specialized non-destructive tests and inspections

Analyze test data and provide documentation in quality records and reports

Assist with the development of test procedures and technique sheets

Support corrective action planning based on inspection results

Communicate findings to quality, engineering, and operations teams

Provide guidance and certification prep training as needed

Maintain adherence to safety protocols and industry testing standards

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an NDT Quality Test Specialist

Recent certification in Eddy Current NDI

Aviation or aerospace industry experience

Flexibility to work various shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd as needed)

Consistent, reliable attendance is essential

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field

Current NDT Level II Eddy Current certification

Hands-on experience with ET MAUS and ET Low Frequency

Prior experience interfacing with regulatory agencies (FAA, DCMA, Military)

Past experience supporting aircraft programs with major OEMs

Pay Details: $31.66 per hour
