Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an ED Tech, you will provide crucial support and direct patient care in the fast-paced Emergency Department, ensuring efficient operations and compassionate assistance during critical moments.

Every day you will expertly assist with patient admissions and discharges, perform vital signs and basic medical procedures, maintain a clean and organized environment, and meticulously document observations to support the nursing staff and physician team.

To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding adaptability, strong communication skills, and a calm, proactive demeanor, contributing significantly to timely patient care and a smooth-running ED.

ASSESSMENT/PLANNINGTakes vital signs, height and weight. Records on appropriate charting formReports observations regarding patient's status to the registered nurse. Identifies and responds to urgent/emergent situations.Assists in patient admission, transfer or dischargeMoves, lifts, ambulates and transports patients safely.Assists physicians and nursing staff with assigned procedures
