**Job Description**
In support of a Business Area with over $2 billion in annual revenue and material spend in the hundreds of millions, leads and coordinates Supplier Partnerships Left Shift Procurement group. This individual is chartered with running the team responsible for partnering with programs early to execute proposal support, sourcing segmentation, part selection, risk and opportunity identification/management, and development of material sourcing strategies for program execution.
Work closely in a cross-functional manner with program management, engineering, planning, operations and sourcing functions to ensure early supply chain integration and management. Support Supply Chain Capture team with sourcing segmentation and left shift best practices.
Lead a team that develops requests for information, supplier identification (some international), develops evaluation criteria, selects or recommends suppliers to be awarded with procurement team. Work closely with IPTs to ensure BOM, SSOWs & Drawings support demand.
Collaborate with procurement teams to share execution plan and facilitate execution of program strategy to ensure purchase orders support demand.
Partner with Strategic Sourcing to ensure programs are tied to our supply base s strategic capabilities and recent performance. Ensure front end supplier partnerships lead is aligned to program material strategy.
Work closely with Operations Proposal Group to ensure material strategies are bid to program requirements and negotiating to support the price to win and objectives.
Ability to work independently, as well as manage cross-functional program teams on issues related to materials; multi-tasking is crucial for success. Must be able to assess, prioritize, drive issues to closure and be assertive when required. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties. Exhibit best practice work habits and collaborate with other sourcing team members to promote operational excellence. Deliver quality customer service to both internal and external customers, foster, and maintain good supplier relationships.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Experience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment
+ Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and the understanding of the role of suppliers in complex industries.
+ Experience leading major procurement efforts in a Department of Defense (DOD) contracting environment.

+ Secret clearance or secret eligible

+ Professional Supply Chain Certification: C.P.M., C.P.S.M., P.M.P., C.S.C.P.
+ Graduate degree in a related field
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
