The Economic Development Incentives Coordinator will support our strategic efforts in expanding our footprint through skillful negotiation and capture of incentives. This role is pivotal in supporting economic development projects and forging sustainable, durable relationships with political, economic development, and community stakeholders nationwide. This role can be hybrid. Primary Responsibilities + Project Coordination in Economic Development: Support initiatives to identify and secure economic incentives to maintain sustainable business growth. + Strategic Negotiation and Partnership Development: Negotiate incentives and collaborate with local governments and economic development agencies to foster environments conducive to mutual growth. + Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws and regulations while keeping leadership informed through regular, detailed reports on project status and stakeholder engagements. + Administrative Streamlining: Develop and implement efficient workflows for incentive administration to reduce resource requirements while managing application processes and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Education and Experience + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred. + At least 4 years of experience in economic development, public policy, or related fields, with proven success in leading development projects and negotiating with governmental bodies. Physical Requirements + Must be able to sit at a desk while looking at a computer for long periods of time. + Must have a valid drivers license. + Must be able to travel up to 50% with overnight travel required.
