This position is hybrid, required to be onsite at Corporate on specified days, - currently located in Denton, TX and relocating to Legacy West in Plano in late fall 2025.

Essential Function   

This position is responsible for helping execute the front-end experience of our marketplace businesses.  Ensuring sales performance of Sally Beauty sales on Amazon, Walmart, DoorDash, Instacart, and Uber and more.  Helping with identification of ways to optimize listings and landing pages. Watching channel health and task lists to ensure operations run smoothly to pave the way for the Marketplace growth strategy.  This role will also assist with operations on the SB.com promotions business.

Primary Duties            

Content & Optimization

Proactively audit and update 50+ listings per month across traditional marketplacesMaintain a rolling content calendar for listing refreshes across all marketplacesStandardize image/video assets (lifestyle, how-to) across platformsEnsure brand standards and compliance across all channels (titles, bullets, ingredient claims, images)Run monthly A/B tests on titles, images, and bullets with documented learnings

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Run weekly error reports (suppressed listings, content violations, missing attributes) and resolve quicklyQA promotional pricing and coupon set-up before and during campaignsProactively troubleshoot feed issues before they impact customersSpot-check competitor content to identify gaps and best practices

Inventory & Fulfillment

Monitor FBA inventory daily and flag SKUs selling quicker than plannedSupport promo readiness ahead of key events (TikTok Shop launch, multi-channel fulfillment)Monitor cross-channel inventory health weekly (Amazon FBA, DD/IC/Uber real-time feeds)

Pricing & Margin Protection

Monitor Buy Box and competitor pricing daily for top ASINsEscalate risks quickly to protect sales and marginMonitor price parity across all marketplaces weekly (avoid channel conflict + margin erosion)Validate promo funding/discounts are live correctly and not stacking unintentionallyTrack Amazon fee changes (FBA, storage, referral) and model impacts to margin

Reporting & Insights

Build weekly scorecards by marketplace (sales, margin, OOS, ad spend, promo performance)Track basket-building metrics on DD/IC/Uber and flag opportunities for bundlesProvide monthly deep-dives on at least one marketplace (organic trends, promo performance)Document and maintain SOPs for recurring tasks (promotions, content updates, reporting) 

Search, Ads & Performance

Pull and analyze weekly keyword/search reports from DoorDash, Instacart, and Uber EatsIdentify and implement quick-win optimizations from search data (keywords, attributes, trends)Track keyword rank for top 100 ASINs/SKUs per channel and share movement weeklyAssist with SB.com and SB.CA promotional strategy to include day-to-day operations of promo set up, tracking, managing sku lists, and pulling data to analyze results. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements      

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
