The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility.
About the role:
As the eCommerce Business Manager on Brands, you will be the driving force behind the NEXT eCommerce for Fashion Brands, taking full ownership of the business’s growth and performance. As the go-to contact for the product team, you'll lead the charge across trading, marketing, and every Ecommerce touchpoint. You’ll steer strategy, optimize performance, and elevate sales by leveraging your commercial and product expertise to deliver impactful results.
What else is involved?
Develop strategies to drive growth for Fashion (brands) and continuously aim to enhance the customer experience. You are the key person accountable for Fashion on the brands team. Therefore you should be an expert in product and key trends, translating this into the customer journey online to drive sales. You are responsible for the relationship between product teams and ecommerce. Keeping product teams updated with key online developments and maintaining a strong relationship with them. You analyse key reports and trade Fashion (brands) across marketing, search & navigation and product pages. Looking at key performance metrics, user behaviour, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvements in the sales funnel. Provide weekly sales performance and in-week insights to maximise sales potential. Come up with testing ideas and other data-driven approaches to refine and optimise the overall customer journey. Stay informed about emerging technologies and eCommerce trends, providing insights and recommendations for future possible enhancements to the website.

About you:
So if you’ve got proven experience working within an eCommerce Trading environment as a Senior Trading Manager, are highly analytical and comfortable with large volumes of data, have strong communication skills with a driven & forward thinking attitude, the ability to strategise and innovate and are ready to challenge the status-quo - this is the role for you!
