The ECOM Database Engineer is responsible for the initial setup, preparation, maintenance, internal auditing, and close-out of the Project Completions Database (ECOM) during the execute phase. You will ensure database integrity and performance while adhering to Project HSSE and Quality Plans.

Responsabilities:

Maintain ECOM databases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability to support project and operational needs.

Monitor database health, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and data integrity.

Develop and optimize database queries, scripts, and stored procedures for efficient data handling and reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ECOM databases with other operational systems.

Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including schemas, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Identify opportunities for improvement in database systems and lead initiatives to enhance performance and reliability.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in database engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.

Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Knowledge of ECOM systems and their integration in Oil & Gas operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
