Salary: Professional Rate per GTA Contract ($35/hour)

Minimum Requirements:
Current Greece Central School District teacher
Certification in discipline or closely related discipline
Familiarity with online learning platforms, Microsoft Word, Google Docs
Familiarity with Olympia ECHS program and MCC
Desired Qualifications:
Has experience with AVID.
Has experience teaching/supporting students with COS 133 (College Orientation and Success Strategies).
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Support Early College High School students enrolled in PHL 101 (MCC)
Orientation week of June 30th, 2025
Online meeting days July 7 - August 8, 2025
Meeting times TBD
Course Information: Designed to help students transition successfully into college. Topics include MCC tech, goal setting, time management, and study skills.
Support Early College High School students enrolled in MCC summer course virtually and in person.
Partner with MCC professor to gain understanding of course requirements and ways in which students can be offered instructional support.
Monitor student progress and academic achievement.
Offer both online and in person office hours minimum 2 hours per week up to 10 hours per week during the duration of the course.
Escort students to MCC, as needed, and support their acclimation to the college environment (max 12 hours per week).
Max. approved 110 hours 5 weeks @ 22 hrs/wk.
