Job Overview:
The Echocardiogram Technician performs technical procedures such as Adult TEE and TTE with the use of an Echocardiogram machine, to obtain ultrasound images to aid in diagnoses of cardiac disease
Qualifications:
Required:
Successful completion of ultrasound or cardiovascular technology program with emphasis on echocardiography or RCS Certification is required or eligibility is required,A minimum of 15 echo-related CMEs required per three year period as required by ICAEL standardsPrevious experience in performing all modalities of cardiac non-invasive testing is preferredMaintenance of required BLS Heart Health Care Provider course completion status is requiredSuccessful completion of all required orientation programs is requiredPreferred:
At least one year of relevant work experienceCertifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):
