Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.

To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standardsProblem solve equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative regarding equipment problemsEnsures that daily equipment and room maintenance is performed during after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standardsCompletes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintainedCompletes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedureActively Participates with patient testing, performing routine, non‐routine, urgent, and emergent patient requests
Job Requirements

Required

The Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Radiation Treatment Center, and Texas Children’s Hospital.
