Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.
To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
Able to perform a complete array of Diagnostic Ultra Sound Procedures as ordered by a Physician.Able to select proper probe to obtain excellent results for Cardiologist interpretation.Able to trouble shoot equipment in determining possible failure.Uses positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective mannerTransmits digital images to the PACS system for archiving and retrieval of patient information for filming.Reports equipment problems in an efficient manner.
