Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.

To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

Performs Cardiovascular Ultrasound ProceduresProvides patient/ family with information regarding procedure.Correctly prepares patient for ultrasound proceduresEvaluates equipment for safety, troubleshoots problems and promptly reports malfunctions. Maintains echo equipmentMaintains accurate log of echo procedures performed.Correctly charges for procedures performed.
Job Requirements

Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medical sciences and mathematics. and Five years experience as Echocardiographic technologist, upon hire andVerifiable completion of 18 contact hours of in-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hireRegistered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months orRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months orRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months orBasic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
