**Job Summary and Responsibilities** As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies. To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services. + Performs Cardiovascular Ultrasound Procedures + Provides patient/family with information regarding procedure + Correctly prepares patient for ultrasound procedure + Communicates with patient, families, physician, other department and department members maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor + Maintains Equipment and Supplies + Maintains accurate log of echo studies performed + Maintains accurate log of charges for echo studies performed **Job Requirements** Required + Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medicalsciences and mathematics., upon hire and + Verifiable completion of 18 contact hours ofin-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hire + Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or + Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or + Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months and + Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days Preferred + Minimum of three years clinical experience in cardiovascular ultrasound **Where You'll Work** CHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas, is part of CommonSpirit Health.
