YOUR ROLE

The Cost Accounting Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of SAP inventory valuation and Cost of Sales through training, variance analysis, and common business processes.

In your daily job you will:

Oversee daily operations of the cost accounting department.Supervise a team of 6 people.Finance coordination of Physical Inventory and results.Manage annual inventory standard revaluationGood communication and coordination with internal Finance, Production Control, and Global Business Services teamsCalculate Variance Capitalization per Accounting PolicyReview and approval of Account reconciliations.Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.Review and approve journal vouchers.Train and supervise staff.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

3 years of experience in a similar positionRelevant experience with SAP and HFM financial systemsDemonstrates high level of leadership ability, including the ability to work with diverse groupsAbility to analyze information and decide course of action, strong analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel within North America as needed
