In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and
Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and
disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
In this role, you will:
+ Create and review schematic and footprint symbols representing electronic components to be used on a printed circuit board
+ Ensure new and updated symbols conform to company guidelines
+ Maintain ECAD library for updated guidelines and resolve issues in response to feedback received from engineering & designers
+ Update company guidelines with new rules established by library team, designers, operations, and other disciplines
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Experience working in an engineering and/or technical environment, with an interdisciplinary team (electrical, mechanical, operations) to arrive at an agreed solution
+ Ability to develop and maintain ECAD libraries
+ Detail oriented with ability to identify inconsistencies of significance
+ Skilled in research, both online and within internal tools
+ Demonstrably strong communication skills
+ Flexibility to adapt to changing design and program needs, guidelines and process
+ Self-motivated, able to work independently, and committed to self-improvement
+ Passion for quality
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ 4 years experience developing and maintaining ECAD libraries
+ Engineering Degree or Associate s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
+ Proficiency with Cadence SPB software package version 17.4 or newer, including PCB Editor, Design Entry HDL and System Capture
+ Knowledgeable in IPC-7351
+ Knowledgeable in IPC-2221
+ Experience with version control tools and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for the release and update of designs and data
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $70828 - $120408
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
