Location: Wilson, NC Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-Time *Previous Strong Behavioral Experience Required* About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher to the team. The EC Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive appropriate services to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student. + Provide direct instruction in small groups and/or inclusive classroom settings. + Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective accommodations and modifications. + Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. + Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and professional development activities. + Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and growth. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred). + Valid NC Teaching License with EC/Special Education certification. + Strong understanding of IEP development, behavior management, and differentiated instruction. + Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
