Amergis staffing is seeking a EC Teacher for the 25/26 school year. Start Date:
August 25, 2025
Contract Length:2025–2026 School Year
Schedule:Full-time | 37.5 hours/week
Position Summary:The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, provides high-quality educational services to students with special needs in grades K–12. This role requires a collaborative team player committed to planning and implementing individualized programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial support, and consultation with general education staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction aligned with Extended Content Standards Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction and interventions Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred) Valid North Carolina EC Teacher Licensure (required) Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred) State Teacher Certification in one or more of the following: Standard Elementary Teaching Standard Secondary Teaching Standard Special Teaching Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (preferred) Ideal Candidate Profile: Creative and flexible thinker willing to explore innovative teaching strategies Strong foundation in data collection and instructional planning Experience working with Extended Content Standards Passionate about inclusive education and student growth Compensation: Bill Rate: $60/hour Hours/Week: 37.5Amergis offers the following benefits:
