Job Description

This position is responsible for execution of eAxle validation engineering activities comprising of design of validation test programs for platform and customer projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Design of validation test programs for platform and customer projectsCarry out assessment of validation requirement for the Indian market through simulation, reference vehicle study etc.Implement new test procedures, cost optimisation of existing test plansPartitioning of test plans into single tests and test series and coordination with test fieldEvaluation of samples, report generationDiscussion of validation results with system and design engineersSupport effectively in eAxle validation test infrastructure planning and commissioningCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure validation requirements are met throughout the product development lifecycleDevelop and maintain validation documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reportsAnalyse and interpret test data to identify potential issues and recommend solutionsStay updated on industry standards and regulations related to eAxle technologyContribute to continuous improvement initiatives for validation processes and methodologies

 

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

8+ years of experience in automotive system engineering activities with relevant experience in electrificationProven experience in validation engineering, preferably in electric powertrain or eAxle systemsStrong knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations related to electric vehicle componentsProficiency in simulation software and data analysis toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentExperience with electric vehicle powertrain systems and componentsKnowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standardsFamiliarity with ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) processesExperience with test automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
