Job Description

This position is responsible for execution of eAxle System Engineering electrical-electronics (EE) activities in customer projects. Key responsibilities include:

1. Carry out EE domain activities in customer projects in alignment with customer EE teams

2. Implement new methods and processes in EE domain leading to efficiency improvement

3. Derive India market requirements for EE domain and translate them into technical specifications

4. Work in close collaboration with global development team and cross-functional teams for EE domain

5. Support customers during vehicle homologation for EE domain activities

6. Implement System engineering EE testing infrastructure set-up in coordination with cross-functional teams

7. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for eAxle EE systems, including technical specifications, design documents, and test plans

8. Conduct thorough analysis of eAxle EE system performance and provide recommendations for optimization

9. Participate in design reviews and provide expert input on EE aspects of eAxle systems

10. Troubleshoot complex EE issues in eAxle systems and develop innovative solutions

11. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in electric vehicle propulsion systems

12. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure component compatibility and integration with eAxle EE systems

 

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field8+ years of experience in automotive system engineering with relevant experience in electrificationProven expertise in eAxle systems and electric vehicle propulsion technologiesStrong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems, including control units, sensors, and actuatorsExperience with automotive software development and integrationFamiliarity with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, AUTOSAR)Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesKnowledge of vehicle homologation processes and requirementsAbility to travel domestically and internationally as required
