Nous avons des postes qui vous permettront de consolider vos acquis et de faire avancer votre carrière au prochain niveau. **Description du poste** UPS is currently looking for **Part-time Package Pre-loaders** to work from our **Nanaimo Package Facility.** + Position Title: **Pre-loaders** + Position Type: **Permanent Part-time** + Work Hours: **5** **:00AM – 9:00AM*** + Workdays: **Monday to Friday*** + Location: **Madsen Rd, Nanaimo BC** ***Shift schedules may vary based on operational requirements** Preloaders are responsible for unloading and loading packages off and on trailers, air canisters and other vehicles early in the morning. Other responsibilities may include: + Lifting, lowering, and moving of packages weighing between 10 to 70lbs. + Scanning and sorting packages based on postal codes, addresses, package dimensions + Understanding and recognizing postal codes, routing charts and maps + Standing closely with conveyor, roller belts and other equipment in the warehouse + Working in a team environment to ensure efficient transfer of packages. **Qualifications** + Available to work **Monday to Friday*** + Ability to follow set of safety and standard procedures; + Good organizational and multi-tasking skills + Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment; + Able to regularly and safely lift packages **between 10-lbs up to 70-lbs unassisted;** + Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment. + Warehouse experience is considered an asset but not required. **All candidates must go through a series of interviews, background and reference checks.** **What we offer...** + **Training and Development:** training provided for all positions + **Weekly compensation:** weekly pay, **effective starting rate of $18.50/hour** + **Tuition Reimbursement Program:** reimburse tuition fees for **up to $2000/semester*** + **Guaranteed wage progression:** guaranteed wage progression* + **Generous benefits package:** Extended benefits + **Promotion from within:** career advancement in many areas of the business + **Employee discounts:** employee discounts available online through UPSers. ***Conditions Apply** If you are interested in joining the UPS team.
