As an Early Childhood Teacher, you play a powerful role in shaping a child’s earliest experiences—supporting their growth in literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and preparing them for long-term academic success.
In this role, you will create meaningful, developmentally rich learning experiences while forming strong, trusting partnerships with families. You will support individualized goals for each child and work with a wide range of age groups—infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children—across diverse educational settings.
Responsibilities
+ Design and implement engaging educational programming rooted in early literacy, numeracy, and social development.
+ Build impactful, collaborative relationships with families to support individualized child outcomes.
+ Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore.
+ Work with children across various age groups and developmental stages.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
+ Early Childhood certification (CDA or equivalent) as required by state or contract
+ Level 5 Gateways Required
+ Ability to comply with all professional and regulatory standards
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if required)
+ Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Position Details
+ Early Childhood Teacher
+ Schedule: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
+ Lunch: 1-hour unpaid
+ Additional Requirement: Professional Development Plan to obtain PEL by 2028 (required for long-term staff)
