Roles and Responsibilities
Perform all activities related to the testing and validation of an equipment, in accordance to the design objectives or specifications for operational use, including performance services, and performance testsDevelop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or experience.Understand how work of own team contributes to the area.Resolve issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.Collaborate with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.Responsible for activities related to Substation Automation System commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope.Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters and collaborate with others to solve issues.Develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.Ensuring compliance to Project Management Handbook, GRID Quality & EHS Policies and IMS procedures Recording and reporting of Quality Objectives & KPI dataCoordination with Client for Daily activitiesRecommend field changes beneficial to plant operations or necessary for efficientcommissioning.Prepare final Commissioning report highlighting problem areas, recommended engineering
