Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt)
Starting Wage DOE: $35.34 - 44.18
The EAP Wellness Coordinator supports the Manager and/or Director in leading the EAP and Employee Health Department. This role manages and coordinates services related to employee health and well-being, including EAP, CommPsych, and the Employee Crisis Fund. It includes supervisory responsibilities and oversight of therapy services, crisis intervention, care coordination, and internal wellness initiatives. This position promotes wellness across the organization and aligns wellness programs with Billings Clinic's overall strategy.
Essential Job Functions
• Provides leadership for EAP and Employee Health, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Oversees day-to-day operations, ensures continuous quality improvement, and maintains training records.
• Serves as administrator of the employee wellness program, developing campaigns and marketing materials aligned with the Billings Clinic well-being vision.
• Provides assessment, crisis intervention, and emotional support for patients and employees using individual, family, and group modalities.
• Meets with clients and support systems to discuss evaluations, goals, and treatment plans.
• Supports stabilization and optimal well-being through therapeutic support and education.
• Coordinates care with external agencies and internal departments to ensure appropriate support and services.
• Serves as a liaison between hospital, clinic, community, and state agencies to promote health and facilitate referrals.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to integrate psychosocial needs into overall care planning.
• Participates in strategic planning to enhance and align wellness and health services with organizational goals.
• Identifies service gaps and engages in process improvement initiatives.
• Provides utilization review and maintains necessary data for program evaluation.
• Serves as the point of contact for issue resolution, demonstrating professionalism in communication.
• Ensures exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation in compliance with organizational policies.
• Adheres to regulations and policies regarding patient rights, ethics, confidentiality, infection control, and safety.
• Assesses and responds to legal matters, including advanced directives, guardianship, and mandatory reporting of abuse or neglect.
• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
• Graduate Degree in related field (also must possess a clinical license in the State of Montana- LCPC, LCSW, LMFT)
Experience
• One (1) year experience in a clinical setting with the same or similar duties and expectations of this position, preferred.
Certifications and Licenses
• Current Montana license as Licenses Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or if entering from a different state, must be licensed in practicing state.
