E&R Advisor

Airswift is seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented E&R Advisor to support Low Carbon Solutions projects for one of our major clients.
Location: Spring, TX
Employment Type: Contract – initial 1-year assignment, to extend.
Overview:
We are seeking two Environmental & Regulatory (E&R) Advisors to support our Low Carbon Solutions projects, specifically focused on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).

Position 1: Senior E&R Advisor
Experience Required: Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry. Strong background in regulatory compliance, particularly in the U.S. Gulf Coast. Experience with pipeline permitting and operations is highly desirable. Proven ability to lead and guide regulatory strategy across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  Verify SSHE input in engineering deliverables, including subcontractor bid documents. Endorse SSHE deliverables and communicate key points or exceptions to stakeholders. Interface with EPC Contractor, government agencies, and external stakeholders regarding E&R plans and compliance. Advise project management and EPC contractor on regulatory changes, interpretations, and compliance. Provide cost and schedule estimates for E&R deliverables (e.g., permits, wetlands restoration, safety-related provisional sums). Review Management of Change proposals to ensure E&R risk screening is addressed. Ensure prompt reporting and investigation of E&R incidents and compliance issues. Steward and report E&R performance indicators to meet project and corporate requirements. Position 2: Mid-Level E&R Advisor

Experience Required:
  5–8 years of experience in environmental and regulatory roles within the energy sector. Familiarity with U.S. regulatory frameworks and permitting processes. Experience in CCS or pipeline projects is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with EPC Contractor and stakeholders on E&R plan implementation and compliance tracking. Support project teams with regulatory interpretations and compliance guidance. Contribute to cost and schedule estimates for E&R deliverables. Participate in Management of Change reviews to assess E&R risks. Assist in reporting and investigating E&R incidents. Support stewardship of E&R performance indicators and reporting requirements.
Qualifications (Both Roles):
  Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state environmental regulations. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
