Mission
The e-merchandiser oversees the website merchandising and ensures the digital customer journey working closely with the subsidiary Merchandise team. The role is responsible for converting traffic into sales by selecting, displaying and animating the product offer online. By their actions, the e-merchandiser monitors the digital window of the brand and is also accountable for driving e-visitors to our retail stores. The e-merchandiser qualitatively merchandises the products in an omnichannel mindset.
Actions
Product display and website navigation
Publish the products and their content in Nova, following the commercial and communication priorities and strategies.
Visual merchandise category grids using Fredhopper tool.
Maintain Perfect Partner proposition, using perfect partner A.I platform to assist cross selling.
Publish header notification banner and create editorial pages using Drupal.
Ensure consistency between editorial content and product offer.
Merchandise products on the Homepage linked to editorial priorities.
Define the best product grid allowing an easy and fluid navigation for the visitor.
Optimise the e-search results.
Propose and challenge product content to Group digital and metiers teams.
Create editorial content pages in collaboration with communication team.
Manage EDM and Homepage calendar.
E-merch performance
Analyse website pages performance and navigation path (Google analytics).
Follow up the traffic and the sales; adapt the E-merch to optimize conversion rate, and maximize average basket.
Propose improvements for customer experience.
Retail Merchandising
Sales analysis
Analyse product sales performance and identify sales trend.
Follow up sales through and MOS.
Contribute to the yearly budget, re-estimate and B+2 preparation.
Inventory management
Animate the stock and the offer with appropriate action: transfer in and out, portfolio. cancellations, reorders, aging stock cleaning.
Ensure Website stock accuracy vs Cegid.
Product offer
Working with Digital & Ecommerce Manager, prepare buying recommendation. based on the OTB defined by the Merchandise team.
Follow up the deliveries and ensure the availability of best sellers online.
Work with Merchandise team to build an omnichannel offer.

Work on Casper offer: products and stock eligibility, display, order and transfer request
Network
• Closely work with Group digital team and Metiers.
• Meet on a regular basis with Regional Retail merchandising team, VM and Communication.
