E&I Engineer – Oil & Gas Operations

Location: Perth, WA (with ad hoc site visits)
Contract Duration: 6 months (potential for extension or transition to permanent)
Reporting to: Engineering Manager

About the Role:
Due to a recent resignation, we are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This role is essential in maintaining continuity while we undertake permanent recruitment. The successful candidate will act as the E&I engineering focal point, supporting operations across our assets.

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical E&I support across operational assets, including Central Processing Facilities (CPF) and Floating Production Storage and Offloading units (FPSOs) Lead and coordinate E&I engineering activities within a small, agile team Troubleshoot and resolve E&I issues to ensure safe and efficient operations Collaborate with site teams and internal stakeholders Conduct ad hoc site visits as required Requirements: Strong background in Oil & Gas operations, particularly with CPF and FPSO experience Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of engineering responsibilities Comfortable working in a small team environment Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Available to start at short notice Opportunity: Possibility of contract extension or transition into a permanent role in 2026, depending on performance and business needs
