The Ecommerce Retail Media Manager is responsible for stream end-to-end in order to maximize ad revenue/ brand placement utilization and create additional value for the website’s users. He/she joint eRetail Media planning and execution with vendors, action accurate and systematic deployment of scheduled activities and maintain constant analysis and improvement.
Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Develops, maintains and constantly enriches QDFC’s eCommerce media kit together with other QDFC’s departments (eCom, Commercial, Marketing, etc.), in order to maintain an appealing and up-to-date eRetail media offering inviting brands to participate in online marketing campaigns. Ensures alignment on and fulfilment of planned activities between QDFC’s eCommerce and QDFC’s brand partners by maintaining direct relationships with the latter via i) regular communication, meetings and presentations, ii) maintaining and updating QDFC’s eRetail Media calendar/booking grid. Coordinates preparation and validation of the required visuals and copy with vendors, performs asset and placement updates directly in the website’s CMS (Content Management System) in order to ensure optimal visibility for the brands. Drives ad revenue/sales growth by actively identifying opportunities and proposing/running activation plans/campaigns aimed at the mutual growth of awareness/consideration/conversion/other metrics together with QDFC’s brand partners. Adheres to and performs the required steps of internal processes directly or indirectly connected with eRetail media to ensure a high level of compliance, including but not limited to: billing, contract preparation, approval workflows, etc. Engages in the coordination of off-platform activities and placements together with QDFC’s brand partners and other teams and subsidiaries of the Qatar Airways Group (Privilege Club, Personalization, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, etc.) with a view to offer 360 campaigns. Performs pre-campaign metrics forecasting and mid- & post-campaign analysis in order to draw learnings and insights for subsequent optimization and continuous improvement of the eRetail media stream. Participates in the organization and implementation of QDFC’s own eRetail Media campaigns. Regularly conducts a competitive benchmark analysis for eRetail Media, analyses trends and innovation in the field and proposes/implements improvements to QDFC’s eRetail Media based on the findings.
