Position Summary
The E-Commerce Mechandiser is an integral member of the Marketing and Merchandising team. They are responsible for product data and content maintenance, promotional setup and management, and strategic UX planning across Pepboys.com.
The E-Commerce Mechandiser must work in sync with the Merchandising and IT teams to ensure accurate and functional consistency across systems, as well as develop and maintain cross-functional relationships both internally and externally.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintenance and build out of all product related content, assets, and fitment data for Pepboys.com Product level data includes marketing content, brand content, technical spec data and all related images and assets. Data is maintained and built at the SKU, product line, and bulk brand levels. Implementation and testing of all online promotions Promo engine and logic is built, updated, and tested through Hybris BackOffice Promos are driven by business need and can be built based on category, brand, or SKU level requirements. Strategic UX planning and testing, as related to product recommendation and service flows Coordination of data and content planning with internal teams and external partners Performance and exception reporting related to products and promotions on the siteEducation and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience Strong Knowledge of Product Data Maintenance and Promotional Functionality Agile process/Jira experience preferred Experience with SAP/Hybris Backoffice (or equivalent) strongly preferred Experience with PIM, CMS, and DAM systems strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to manage and organize comprehensive technical spec and marketing data required Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to keep up to date with web standards, SEO best practices, and legal guidelines Ability to work independently and remotely Ability to work off hours to accommodate overseas team time difference Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPhysical Demands/Work Environment
