About Us

Qualcomm Cambridge is based in the North of the city on the Cambridge Business Park, part of the renowned Cambridge Science Park, a greenfield site with lakes, walking and cycle paths.

The Cambridge QTI engineering team is continuing to expand in the Voice&Music and IoT Sectors. We offer a full end-to-end service for leading-edge Low-Power Mixed-Signal SOCs from feasibility study through Systems Architecture, Digital and Analogue design, Verification, Validation, Implementation, Layout, Embedded Software design and ATE Test, Production and Characterisation. We are the R&D engine that benefits the world in three ways: Enabling Customers, Transforming Industries and Enriching Lives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

About the role

DV Engineer, Senior: Design Verification of custom V&M and IoT IP and SoCs, including:

Design analysis for testabilityTest planningTest bench and infrastructure development using System Verilog and UVMIP level test development using System Verilog and UVMIP level test development using Formal MethodsSoC level test development using System Verilog and embedded C codeWork is in a dynamic team environment.

Skills and Experience we would love to see

Experience of System Verilog, VerilogExperience of UVMExperience of C or other high-level languagesSV-UVC developmentUVM testcase developmentStrong debug skillsKnowledge of Standard interfaces, Bus protocols and Processor architecturesProven track-record of delivering quality verification on timeEnthusiasm to learn in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take ownership of end-to-end verification tasksExcellent communication skills a must

Desirable

Python programming a bonusExperience with configuration control and bug tracking tools (Clearcase/ClearQuest a benefit)

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

Masters - Computer Engineering, Masters - Computer Science, Masters - Electrical Engineering

Work Experiences:

3 yrs+ in an appropriate Design Verification role, with hands-on experience of designing and coding UVM UVCs and test cases.

Skills:

System Verilog, UVM, Embedded C, Design Verification, Python
