Salary: 30,000 - 33000 per annum plus upsell.

What will I be doing?

\n

A Duty Manager, you will oversee all areas of the hotel representing the senior management during the day to day operations, working from Front Office but also directly supervising staff in concierge, room service and restaurant whilst on duty. Whilst not limited to these you must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nOccupy the hotel lobby and other public areas, particularly at busy times\nEngage Guests in conversation and provide general assistance\nManage, record, and resolve promptly all Guest complaints\nCoordinate the services and special facilities provided to long-stay Guests\nFollow  credit procedures and ensure they are applied\nStay current with all hotel products, services, policies and emergency procedures\nMonitor Guest satisfaction reports and implement actions to improve results\nCoach and train front desk team in conjunction with front office management.\nPerform check in and check outs as required.\nAnswer guest queries prior, during and after stay.  \nHandle, record and follow through with management issues or emergencies that arise\nConduct any Health and Safety procedures, if required, including fire walks, food safety investigations, etc.\nLeading from the front and being flexible to take on any duty required to keep the operation of hotel working as smoothly as possible.\nCovering Night Manager during absence.\n\n

What are we looking for?

\n

Duty Manager working at the London Hilton on Park Lane must to successfully fill this role, maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

\n\nAn Extremely team oriented person with great leadership skills and exceptional communication skills\nPrevious supervisory experience in a similar standard and size hotel or Duty Manager in a smaller hotel.\nGood knowledge of Health and Safety and security procedures\nCalm, efficient and the ability to work well under pressure\nA strong passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service and the ability to deliver this through your team\nIt would be advantageous (not required) in this position for you to demonstrate  knowledge of OnQ PMS.\n\n
