\n\nHilton Istanbul was the first modern hotel built in Europe after the Second World War.\nHilton Istanbul appears in the opening scene of 1963’s From Russia with Love, starring Sean Connery as James Bond.\nIstanbul’s first discotheque, Cloud 9, opened at Hilton Istanbul in 1972.\nPilsen Pub, built in Hilton Istanbul in 1972, was the home of Istanbul’s first happy hour.\nMuhammad Ali was staying at Hilton Istanbul when he announced his retirement from boxing in 1976.\nHilton Istanbul has hosted royalty, politicians, and famous figures including Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, and Louis Armstrong.\n\n

Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus has been also described as the university of tourism and filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality since 1955.

We are looking for the potential candidate for Duty Manager position in our Legendary Hotel Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus.

What will I be doing?

\n\nAs a Duty Manager, specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:\nTo provide consistent and superior service, and maintain high service standards\nActively seeking verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis.\nAgreeing and implementing actions to improve customer service.\nPositively dealing with and learning from customer complaints and comments.\nMaking sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively.\nWelcoming personally ‘special attention’ and VIP guests.\nTo be fully aware and competent in accident report procedures, maintenance fault reporting procedures, fire policy and procedure, bomb threat procedure, procedure in case of doctor assistance required and First Aid\nTo have perfect knowledge of company’s Health & Safety Policy, and to act always accordingly.\nTo have thorough knowledge of department Brand Standards.\nEditing Duty Manager Log daily and distributing it to all related people.\nEnsuring all comments referring to SALT and Guest Assistance are inserted in guest profile for future reference.\nHaving a detailed knowledge and daily completion of the DM checklist.\nEnsuring daily follow up on DM reports are done by appropriate department\nReporting any defects and faults to appropriate department and following up on it\nTo contribute to the overall security of the hotel by reporting any unusual occurrences to security department.\nEnsuring the shift is reviewed and hand over and briefings are carried out.\nMaintaining in-depth technical knowledge and skills required for the job.\nWork within all pre-set budgetary limits.\n\n
