Job DescriptionWe’re seeking an experienced, professional, and enthusiastic Duty Manager to lead our Front Office team at Oaks Broome Hotel.
From the moment our guests arrive, you’ll make them feel genuinely welcome with your warm presence and commitment to service excellence. In this vital leadership role, you’ll guide your team and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional stay.
Key responsibilities:
Create an outstanding first impression by delivering a warm, seamless guest welcome and maintaining Front Office standards.Greet guests on arrival, ensure they are comfortably settled, and assist with any needs during their stay.Maintain clear, professional, and honest communication with guests to make accurate bookings and provide assistance.Lead and support the team to consistently deliver exceptional service.Ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.Handle and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.Maintain accurate guest accounts and assist with daily financial reporting.Manage team rosters effectively to meet budget requirements.Support the Hotel Manager with recruitment and onboarding of new team members.QualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum 2+ years experience at a supervisor level within a Hotel environmentExceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse teamExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.Understanding of trust accountingA passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active customer service.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAvailability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
