**HOSPITAL FLOOR TECHNICIAN - $18.50/hr**
**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the hospital, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clean and sanitize hospital floors, including patient rooms, hallways, and common areas.
+ Operate floor cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
+ Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to prevent the spread of infections.
+ Dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to hospital guidelines.
+ Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment for special events or procedures.
+ Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
+ Collaborate with other hospital staff to ensure a clean and safe environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong attendance record.
+ Punctual and reliable with the ability to work required hours and shifts.
+ Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, nurses, doctors, and the housekeeping team.
+ Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with difficult people.
+ Ability to lift 50lbs and push 200lbs.
+ 6 months of previous hospital/hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience.
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a overnight shift, Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
