Dryer Operator
**Job Title: Dryer Operator** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team in the Food Drying Department where you will play a crucial role in drying and packaging bulk Food Grade Ferrous Sulfate. You will be responsible for meeting daily production needs and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. **Responsibilities** + Operate the dryer machine to process damp materials. + Follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Ensure proper stock rotation of FG approved Moist Ferrous Sulfate. + Move materials using a skid steer. + Complete Work Orders and Production Records. + Sample products for Quality Control testing. + Perform shift change cleaning requirements. **Essential Skills** + Experience with Skid Steer, Heavy Equipment, or Sit-down forklift in an indoor/outdoor work environment. + Prior experience in a manufacturing environment. + Machine operating experience, particularly in food production and food manufacturing. + Knowledge of GMP and cGMP standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the Food and Beverage industry. + Skills in machine troubleshooting. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive health care coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. While the environment is not hazardous to health, it provides a unique work atmosphere. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
