Job Description:

Parsons are seeking an experienced Dry Utilities Engineer (Airfield) to manage, supervise, and coordinate dry utilities works on a major airport airfield and runway development project. The role focuses on the execution, coordination, and quality control of power, lighting, communication, and control duct systems supporting airfield and airport operations.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in dry utilities engineering within large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.

What You'll Be Doing;

Oversee on-site construction activities for dry utilities including duct banks, cable trenches, manholes, handholes, and associated civil works.Ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and aviation authority requirements.Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure proper sequencing and timely execution.Coordinate and witness inspections and testing for dry utilities works in line with approved ITPs.Ensure materials, workmanship, and installations meet project quality standards.Identify non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actions.Coordinate with civil, pavement, wet utilities, MEP, and airfield systems teams to manage interfaces and avoid clashes.Liaise with consultants, authorities, and third-party inspectors for approvals and inspections.Support tie-ins, diversions, and interface works within airside or operational areas.Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.Respond to RFIs and assist with technical clarifications.Ensure dry utilities works comply with approved HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements.Promote safe working practices, particularly for trenching, cable pulling, and airside activities.Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems, FOD control, and airside safety procedures.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.Minimum 10 years of experience in dry utilities engineering or site supervision.Experience in airport, airfield, runway, or major infrastructure projects is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of dry utilities systems including power, lighting, and communication duct networks.Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (IEC, BS, NEC, local authority and aviation standards).Ability to interpret utility drawings, profiles, and technical specifications.Proficient in MS Office and technical reporting.Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.Experience working in airside or operational airport environments.Knowledge of airfield lighting (AGL) civil infrastructure and ducting requirements.Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, and NCR management.Experience with document control systems such as Aconex or similar.Airside Driving Permit (ADP) or eligibility to ob
