Essential Functions:
• Oversee the vendor qualification and acquisition set-up process
• Establish vendor implementation schedule and timeline, with milestone due dates for suppliers to follow & track progress
• Lead vendor kick-off preparation and execution, vendor onboarding and stabilization process
• Maintain drop ship policy and process documents
• Implement/communicate any operational process, policy or technology changes to new onboarding vendors
• Effectively build & manage new vendor partnerships while onboarding drop ship suppliers to Belk
Education / Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2 - 3 years of applicable experience
• Retail Management Experience (2+ years Preferred in eCommerce Supply Chain Logistics—Drop Ship)
Knowledge / Skills Requirements:
• Demonstrates strong people skills and the ability to be an effective communicator, and team player
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Solid project management and vendor management expertise
• Proficiency in web business-related computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, or other web analytic software package, etc.)
