**Job Title: Drone Operations Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled operator with extensive experience in operating drones via Remote Control. The successful candidate will act as an operations specialist, assisting in the development and testing of cutting-edge safety-related technologies. This role involves mission planning, lightweight maintenance duties, and conducting limited operational readiness activities and logistics planning as needed. The position is based near Boeing Field in south Seattle and requires up to 75% travel to various flight test sites. **Responsibilities** + Operate drones via Remote Control. + Assist in the development and testing of safety-related technologies. + Perform mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. + Conduct limited operational readiness activities and logistics planning. + Travel up to 75% of the time to various flight test sites. **Essential Skills** + Current 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. + 2+ years of experience in drone operation. + Valid Driver's License and ability to meet driver eligibility criteria. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with the commercial UAS industry. + Aviation safety experience as a Safety Officer or similar. + Excellent business communications and reporting skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a team dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology in the safety field. Work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, wind, and snow, all within established safety thresholds. Drive to offsite work locations daily, with a work vehicle provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
