Drivetrain Test Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Drivetrain Test Engineer with hands-on testing experience in heavy equipment and drivetrain systems to drive the introduction of new or revised systems through efficient test execution and data analysis.

Requirements:

BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering or equivalent experience. Experience with DIAdem, DEWESoft, or Matlab for data analysis. Internship experience in a related field highly preferred; open to recent graduates. Proficiency in engineering principles and drivetrain systems.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of CAN or software controls. Familiarity with business policies and procedures (John Deere standards preferred).

Responsibilities:

Manage daily test bay utilization and scheduling. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for test execution support. Lead setup of drivetrain system tests and verify installation. Troubleshoot technical issues independently or collaboratively. Conduct shakedown procedures and validate test sequences. Execute tests, inspections, and rebuilds as needed. Analyze test data, develop tools for analysis, ensure data quality. Document results, perform root cause analysis, generate reports.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
