As a Driver Trainer, you’ll play a key role in preparing new and existing drivers to meet our high standards of safety and service. You’ll be responsible for delivering classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, ensuring drivers are confident, compliant, and ready to serve the community.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct classroom and in-vehicle training for new and existing school bus driversDeliver instruction on defensive driving, safety procedures, company policies, and provincial regulationsEvaluate driver performance and provide coaching or retraining as neededMaintain accurate training records and documentationAssist with recruitment and onboarding of new driversSupport compliance with Ministry of Transportation and company standardsCollaborate with location management to identify training needs and improve safety outcomes QualificationsValid Ontario Class B license with air brake endorsementPrevious experience as a driver trainer or school bus driver (preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead, motivate, and coach othersKnowledge of Ontario traffic laws and school bus safety regulationsComfortable with both classroom and hands-on instructionOrganized and detail-oriented🌟 What We OfferCompetitive payPaid training and ongoing professional developmentSupportive team environmentOpportunities for advancement within North America’s largest school transportation providerApply today and help shape the future of safe student transportation in Cornwall!
