Position Summary:
This position is for EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role you will serve as the first impression of EPES Transport to potential driver candidates. You will be attracting quality candidates and will be responsible for participating in hiring decisions and using good judgement to assess whether or not a candidate meets company requirements. It is essential to maintain a knowledgeable, professional presentation to drivers of the Company’s qualifications and operations.
This is a remote position. Required training will be conducted onsite in Greensboro, NC.
Responsibilities: Responsible for inbound and outbound driver recruiting calls, leads and inquiries. Screens, interviews and pre-qualifies all telephone inquiries, and update the ATS Pre-Qualify Driver candidates prior to submitting to processing. This includes running and reviewing all applicable reports, updating application / Tenstreet as needed. Maintains knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Company hiring guidelines and practices, ATS functionality and obtaining & analyzing consumer reports. Maintain contact with pre-screened drivers up to date of hire. Other projects as assigned. Qualifications:HS Diploma/GED required1 year of recruiting experience required1 year of transportation experience preferredKnowledge of the Fair Credit Report process requiredExperience managing candidates & requisitions in an Applicant Tracking System requiredKnowledge of FMCSA regulations requiredMust have excellent documentation skillsMust have strong communication / phone skillsMust have a sales oriented mindsetAbility to collaborate with operational leadership requiredMust be a self starter & be able to prioritize when working on multiple requirementsRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with defined performance metricsWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening are required.
