We are seeking a Driver/Hospital Tripper to join our team in our Crafton, PA area

 

Position Details:

 

Maintain professional and courteous interactions with medical staff, clients, and external facilities.

Operate various motor vehicles (e.g., vans and buses) in a safe and skilled manner.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the facility’s vehicle maintenance and operational policies, including accurate completion of daily vehicle logs.

Possess knowledge of local streets, highways, and the locations of individual residential homes.

Adhere to departmental and facility policies and procedures at all times.

Understand principles of personal hygiene and daily living activities as they relate to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner.

Foster and maintain positive working relationships with both residents and staff.

Exhibit empathy and understanding toward residents with intellectual and physical disabilities, including the ability to observe, document, and report behavioral patterns.

Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physically capable of lifting, transferring, and carrying residents, typically weighing over 50 pounds.
