Job DescriptionPrimary Location:
Mesilla Park, New MexicoDriver Check-in/Cashier:
Conducts daily closeout collection and basic accounting procedures with route sales representatives, takes orders for product and performs accounting support functions by performing the following duties.
Receives, counts, documents, and deposits cash from daily route receipts.
Fills out necessary bank deposit documentation.
Closes out daily route creates required reports including end loading report, sales report, checklist report, full-service report, and cash report.
Prepares vendor coin boxes and rolls needed coins for full-service routes.
Make copies of required reports.
Reconciles invoices with daily cash receipts by correcting errors, collecting shortages, or paying overages to drivers.
Operates coin counting machine.
Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.
Secure all monies into safe after tying and tagging each bag.
Accounts for all load sheets, invoices, and cash receipts daily.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONSAbility to interact with route drivers and resolve difficult financial issues using tact and effective interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
