ResponsibilitiesTransport people from site while maintaining the assigned schedule.
Operate vehicle in a safe manner.Inform supervisor of any unusual situations or accidents immediately.Assist riders entering and exiting the vehicle.Comply with all traffic safety rules and regulations.Assist the department supervisor with the daily activities of the Transportation department.Inspect and maintain vehicle daily for cleaning and safety issues.Maintain accurate logs per required standards.Follow established schedules, adjust schedules to meet unanticipated changes, and determine safest and most efficient pickup and delivery routes.Drive specially equipped van to deliver physically limited persons to various destinations; assure that wheelchair lifts and tie down equipment are properly operated and that riders are delivered to appointments in a timely manner.RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.One or more of the following required:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Heart Saver AED obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Chauffeur preferred.
Education:
